Ryan St. Germaine
My name is Ryan St. Germaine, and I was born and raised in Grande Prairie, Alberta. At just 20 years old, I am currently a 3rd-year Instrumentation and Control Technician Apprentice, steadily building my career through dedication, perseverance, and a passion for problem-solving.
From the very beginning, I’ve embraced hard work. My first job was as a groundskeeper at a golf course, where I learned the value of responsibility, discipline, and showing up every day ready to give my best effort. Those early lessons shaped my strong work ethic, which I carry into everything I do today.
Outside of my career, I live life with energy and adventure. My hobbies include snowboarding, dirt biking, motorcycle riding, working out, and surfing. Each of these activities pushes me to challenge myself, stay active, and always strive for growth — whether physically, mentally, or professionally.
Looking ahead, my future goals are simple yet powerful: to be better than I was the day before and to build healthy habits that create long-term success. For me, success isn’t about shortcuts — it’s about consistency, perseverance, and always moving forward.
At the core of everything I do is a drive to solve problems, overcome challenges, and continually improve, both in my trade and in life.

Porter Walter
Hi, I’m Porter Walter. Born and raised in Grande Prairie, I’ve always believed in the value of hard work, determination, and keeping a strong mindset no matter what challenges come my way.
At just 20 years old, I’ve worked a variety of trades, starting my journey as a pipefitter and currently a glazer as well. I have learned a multitude of skills, which have strengthened my attention to detail, and given me a unique perspective on craftsmanship, problem-solving, and precision.
I started working at a young age at The UPS Store, where I learned the importance of responsibility, customer service, and efficiency. Since then, I’ve carried those lessons forward into everything I do — whether it’s work, personal growth, or my passions.
Outside of work, I stay active and adventurous. I enjoy football, hockey, golf, surfing, wakeboarding, and traveling, all of which push me to stay disciplined, focused, and always ready to try something new.
Looking ahead, my goals are to continue growing in wealth, knowledge, experience, and success. I believe in constantly leveling up, both personally and professionally, while building something meaningful that lasts.
